About me

I'm a Data Science Engineer and current MSBA student at UIUC, with a proven record of impactful projects across diverse industries and a keen interest in the various applications of analytics, artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning (ML). During my time as a Risk Advisory and Investigations Intern at FTI Consulting, I conducted investigations for clients in multiple sectors, uncovering evidence of fraud or wrongdoing through advanced analytical techniques.


At CNH Industrial, I served as Team Lead for the development of a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Analytics Dashboard using Power BI and Excel, collaborating with teams across the Asia Pacific region. Developed under the guidance of the regional Diversity & Inclusion head, this dashboard is now implemented across CNH’s Asia Pacific operations.


In research, I worked as a MITACS Globalink Research Intern at Dalhousie University, Halifax, Canada on the project "Data Analytics to Advance Municipal Wastewater Treatment." My role involved optimizing UV dosage for wastewater purification, working closely with PhD students, graduate researchers, and Canadian government officials. This project earned me both the MITACS Globalink Research Internship and Graduate Fellowships, affirming my commitment to advancing practical, data-driven solutions with real-world impact.


Additionally, I have developed HR analytics dashboards with KPMG-provided data at the University of Auckland and contributed to AI and machine learning research at IIT Bombay, further exploring these areas' potential. My experiences across analytics, AI, and ML applications underscore my passion for harnessing data to drive insights and innovation in diverse domains, from corporate investigations and compliance to environmental sustainability and human resources.

  1. Transportation Data Science Project (TDSP) – Northeast Big Data Innovation Hub (NEBDHub), Columbia University

    ⁠Developed data analysis techniques for transportation safety in collaboration with the U.S. Department of Transportation, processing 100,000+ New York collision records. Analyzed geospatial and temporal trends, generating insights to enhance roadway safety, and created data-driven recommendations to address location-based safety inequalities.

  2. F1 Analytics Lab

    Analyzed Formula 1 data to uncover insights into driver and circuit performance, using Python libraries like Pandas, NumPy, and Seaborn. The project identifies the fastest circuits, ranks drivers by consistency, and offers strategic recommendations for race preparation and optimization. Key features include lap time analysis, driver consistency metrics, and circuit performance comparisons, providing actionable insights for strategy and performance enhancement. Optional interactive visualizations were built with Streamlit to enhance data exploration.

  3. Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Dashboard

    Led the development of a DEI Dashboard for CNH Industrial as the Team Lead, collaborating under the guidance of the Asia Pacific Diversity & Inclusion head. Leveraging my project management skills, I coordinated across multiple teams simultaneously, ensuring alignment and seamless communication throughout the project. Using Power BI, Microsoft Excel and RStudio, I structured and analyzed data to support actionable DEI insights. Over a four-month period, this dashboard was developed and later implemented across CNH Industrial’s Asia Pacific region to drive data-informed DEI initiatives.

  4. Data Analytics to Advance Municipal Wastewater Treatment

    As a Globalink Research Intern, I contributed to an innovative project focused on enhancing climate resilience in municipal wastewater treatment. Working with a multidisciplinary team led by Dr. Amina Stoddart, I developed and implemented data visualisation frameworks to optimise energy usage and improve contaminant removal efficiency in wastewater treatment systems. My role involved coding and analysing large datasets using platforms such as RStudio and Power BI. This hands-on experience advanced my technical skills and provided me with a deep understanding of sustainable water management practices within the urban water cycle. On completion of this project, I was awarded the MITACS Globalink Graduate Fellowship to pursue my masters or doctorate degrees from leading universities in Canada.

  5. Ryan Air's Digital Marketing Strategy Analysis

    Conducted a comprehensive analysis of Ryan Air's digital marketing strategy, comparing its effectiveness and reach against primary competitors using Excel, Tableau, and Python. The project involved identifying key performance metrics, uncovering strategic insights, and assessing market positioning. Presented findings to an external panel, where I received commendation for delivering a data-driven, insightful analysis that highlighted critical opportunities and challenges in Ryanair's digital approach.

  6. Safety and Work Compliance Management System Using Computer Vision

    Designed and implemented a Safety and Work Compliance Management System utilizing computer vision with Python and OpenCV. Built a custom training dataset from the ground up to improve detection accuracy and adapt to specific workplace scenarios. The system enables real-time monitoring and compliance checks, enhancing workplace safety by automatically identifying potential hazards and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.

  7. Mortality Trends of COVID-19, Pneumonia, and Influenza

    Developed a comprehensive and interactive dashboard visualizing NCHS-reported deaths involving COVID-19, pneumonia, and influenza, segmented by sex, age group, and jurisdiction. Leveraged Tableau and Excel to create an intuitive, data-driven tool that provided valuable insights into mortality trends across demographics and locations. The dashboard received commendation for its clarity, depth, and user-friendly design, recognized as the best-represented dashboard for effectively communicating complex health data.

  8. Logistic Regression on a Credit Card Dataset

    Conducted logistic regression analysis on a credit card dataset to predict customer behaviors and assess credit risk. Leveraged Python, along with NumPy and pandas, to build a robust model, adding interactive elements for dynamic exploration of insights. The interactive design allowed users to adjust variables and view potential outcomes, enhancing engagement and practical applicability of the analysis
